About Us

Ozona is the “Biggest little town in Texas” and Crockett County Museum showcases the development and growth of this wonderful little town. You will be surprised at how much history can be found in this small part of the vast world called West Texas.

Our friendly staff is quick to show you around or you may choose to simply meander through at your own pace. Make sure you visit the gift shop for a Bags, Tumblers, T-Shirts and more.

Hours

Our normal Hours of Operation are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 9am-5pm
  • Friday: 8:30-4:30pm
  • Closed Saturdays & Sundays

Note: Due to the busy holiday schedules, please call our office at 325-392-2837 to make sure we can have a museum guide present before visiting in November and December. Thank you

We are Closed: New Years Day, Presidents Day,  Good Friday, Memorial Day,  4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day,  Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Holiday

Memberships Available

Stop by for a visit, and casually walk the three floors of memories as you embark on a historical journey of West Texas settlers.  

Walk through exhibits from fossils, to Native American artifacts, to items from the early 19th century living and more.

A $3 fee at the door helps us preserve this great West Texas collection.
Children 5 and under are free.
